CHANTILLY, VA – IAI is a finalist in the 2013 CivilianJobs.com Most Valuable Employers® (MVE) for Military 2013 awards. For the past five years, the MVE awards have recognized top tier employers nationwide for their outreach and support of military-experienced and veteran job seekers. IAI is one of 73 employers to advance to the finalist level. Among the other award finalists are such organizations as GE, Intel, JPMorgan Chase, Southwest Airlines and Verizon.
The 2013 MVE award competition was open to all U.S.-based companies. The finalists were selected based on surveys in which employers outlined their recruiting, training and retention plans that best serve military service members and veterans. Each employer was also asked to produce written statements from recent hired veterans or members of the Guard and Reserve.
Winners will be selected from the pool of finalist companies and will be announced April 28, 2013. MVE recognition will occur throughout the month of May to help honor Armed Forces Day, May 18, 2013. In addition to being recognized in the May issue of Military Transition News, CivilianJobs.com’s world-wide military base newspaper, winning employers will also be displayed on the CivilianJobs.com web site.
